The differences: an actual homosexual (you know, like there actually are homosexuals in ballet, like, who knew?), superior dancing skills, dedication rather than talent and teachers who don't get on well. Imagine.
If you like dancing then this is your movie for this decade. The premise of a workshop to produce a talent night to show off the students to artistic directors is good because it drives the story along. First rule of writing: always give your characters deadlines. Other than that Centre stage is an ok film with pretty dancers and a prodigal son. Ummm... you already know if you're going to see it from this, so there's not much more for me to say.
