Movie propaganda

An intense portrayal of elite soldiers who have one of the most dangerous jobs in the world: disarming bombs in the heat of combat. When a new sergeant, James (Jeremy Renner), takes over a highly trained bomb disposal team amidst violent conflict, he surprises his two subordinates, Sanborn (Anthony Mackie) and Eldridge (Brian Geraghty), by recklessly plunging them into a deadly game of urban combat. James behaves as if he's indifferent to death. As the men struggle to control their wild new leader, the city explodes into chaos, and James' true character reveals itself in a way that will change each man forever.

Theatrical report

I like war films. If I hadn't been unfit for service I probably would've ended up in the army at some stage in my life. I think that war is a useful political tool when you want to create regime change. I like explosions. I like running around shooting things. I don't understand adrenaline junkies. I do like adrenaline. I like putting everything on the line. I like standing up for what you believe in. I like challenges. I like male-bonding. Turns out that I like The hurt locker, too.

The war movie The hurt locker is directed by Kathryn Bigelow and stars Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, Brian Geraghty.
