Spin out! Conventional reality takes a back seat, and personal reality takes control. As the Borg Queen said to Jean-Luc (sort of), Human thinking is so three dimensional.

This is another one of those episodes where the superior power is benevolent, after its own fashion, and everyone ends up doing what they were doing before. The big bonus is that this is the last time that you will have to put up with that stupid Henry James-esque holonovel. The almost-as-big bonus is that you get to see what really motivates some of the regular characters.

And while I'm on the subject, isn't it interesting how the regular characters are able to resist mind probes, viruses, toxic gasses, and weapons fire so much longer than the rest of the crew? Oh, I know that it's a budgetary constraint, but it still annoys the hell out of me.
